posted by a parent/guardian, 2007-08-29 This High School was by far one of the rudest schools that we have ever been to to an athletic event. We spoke to a school official regarding the behavior of students at a recent volleyball game and were told that he would "handle the situation". He was informed of the behavior and also that the refs had also called the boys out 2 times for rude behavior. The school official called the boys out in the hallway of the gym and laughed and said nothing to them regarding their behavior. He made fun of the situation and let the boys come right back into the gym and then continued the harrassment and torment of our ladys volleyball team. I hate the fact that during and athletic event of any kind that other schools are treated this way and spoken to this way. We have traveled all of the state of NC and have been to a lot of schools but this was clearly one of the worst cases of harrassment by students and the fact that one of the faculty members laughed and let it continue, is just unbelievable. We were truly dissappointed at Bartlett Yancy High School.
