The reason for such a low rate, I would have to say, is that all hiring entities at this school should take more care in the hiring process.
Reason being, is that, my child attends your school and had many problems with an English Instructor who, for whatever the reason, does not take good care in following through with her duties and responsibilities as an instructor.
It is my understanding that several of the Memorial parents, including myself, have spoken with the Principal in regards to this instructor and not much has been done. It was suggested, to me, that I switch my child to another instructor, which is fine; but my question, still remains. What about the other students that still have to endure this instructor's careless attitude?
What has to be done, in order to find good instructors for this school?
I believe that during the hiring process; Human Resources should take additional steps to evaluate these individuals BUT when multiple complaints are received from different parents the Principal and Vice-Principal should step in and confirm what is being complained about. In doing so, correcting the problems even if it means a termination of employment for instructors. This way, maybe, all other instructors will take care in how their teaching strategies are selected.
I believe that Memorial is an Excellent School that provides our students with the outmost excellence in education with the exception of some downfalls such as this one.
Principal and Vice-Principal, I understand that guiding High School students is not easy but please do your job and not just wear the title.
