I am extremely impressed by the quality of teachers and faculty members at Ore City Elementary School. I have worked for this school district for a total of 21 years and have never been disappointed by the staff. There have only been five superintendents during the last 33 years which, I think, shows there is stability in the district. We have renovated the elementary school during this time as well as built a new library and cafeteria, junior high building, and high school building. We are in the process of building a new elementary campus which will house Pre-K through 5th grades. The elementary school continues to receive "Recommended" or "Exemplary" ratings on TAKS test results each year.
