My Son and Daughter have attended Waterfront since pre-K, My Son is now in 7th grade and my Daughter has tragically passed away in Dec. 2005. My experiences with the school have been nothing but positive. The Faculty and staff have done everything imaginable to comfort both me and my Son and help us to get through the most painful thing imaginable. They put a beautiful memorial to her in the yearbook last year, and started a memorial scholarship in her name. They have offered support and counciling for both my Son and I and I cannot say enough positive things about the school. The academic level is unparalleled. I am very glad to have made the choice to send my children there and would highly reccomend the school to anyone who may be looking to either start their child in Pre-K or considering transferring their child from another school. All in all I believe Waterfront to be the best school in Buffalo, NY state and quite possibly the best in the country.

My Daughter Autumn Hallett was a student at Waterfront School up until the 6th Grade when she passed away due to complications of diabetes of which she was never even diagnosed. Both her and her Brother Aric began their education in the Pre-K at Waterfront and have become part of the Waterfront Family as well as we have as Parents. The teachers have all been exceptional and were more than willing to go the extra mile and help my or any of the Children who were having difficulty either with lessons or another student. I would reccomend this school to any parent with a child who is approaching the age when they must make probibly the most important decision in that childs life. Probibly my favorite part of this school is the way they make me feel a part of my childs education and not a spectator. I was invited to sit in on any class at any time and see first hand what was being done from day to day. I have also taken advantage of their invitation to join my children for lunch any day I wish. Their Mod approach to education I feel has been a great advantage in helping my child to interact withnot only students of his own age but all stidents older or younger. Our experience with Waterfront school has been nothing but positive from day 1. Everyone from the Bus aide and drivers who pick him up in the morning to the faculty and other staff with whom they interact all day have been professional, courteous and willing to do whatever was necessary to make the educational experience a positive one. The compassion that was showed to my Son Aric and us as parents during the most painful time anyone could imagine, the Death of our 9 year old daughter Autumn, was unbelievable. There was a memorial to her in the yearbook last year and they also presented us with many drawings and letters from both students and the faculty consoling us and letting us know that our little girl was loved and would be missed dearly. Again I say I would reccomend Waterfront school %100 to anyone wishing the best educational experience for their child.
