9 out of 10 |
posted by JoAnna Bedell, a parent/guardian, 2009-03-11 I have had 3 children in McKinley Elementary in the past 6+ years , (and plan on the next 5) and I think we are very lucky to have such a great school, staff, teachers, and "management team", as well as parents who care so much for the good of the kids and their education. We have great fundraisers, lots of creative family nights, the 100 Mile Club, the monthly/semi-monthly hamburger day, as well as many more things that keep the kids interested in learning like the Patriotic Assemblys where every month outstanding students get honored with certificates, free meals, and other awards for outstanding learning and behavior. Everyone should be so lucky to have teachers that care as much as ours do. They all go out of their way and do more than just required, and extended family in the name of the PTA, volunteers for various projects, parents that help however they can, and the outstanding principal and vice-principal, kitchen staff, as well as all of those "behind the scenes". They all contribute to the outstanding school we are proud to call our own.
