i just moved here from groton and my son is in first grade. right now i feel that pick up for the children is terrible. there are more kids being picked up then kids taking the bus and the parking lot is too small for the parents to park thier cars and go get their children. my son is 7 years old and they expect him to walk from williams street to school. i refuse to let him walk. he is too young to walk that far. i feel they need to come up with a better solution for elementary children to get to and from school.
